We follow the regulations outlined in the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the Veterinary Surgeons (Exemptions) Order 2015, so we need a referral from your veterinarian before any treatment can start. Start your jounrey here but either picking route A or B and follow the simple instructions.

- Print the form and complete sections A and B in your time

FULL TIME OR PART-TIME JOB SHARE OPPORTUNITY FOR BETWEEN 30-40 HOURS PER WEEK. SALARY STARTS AT £19,000 FTE SUBJECT TO EXPERIENCE.
Our ideal candidate must:
- Be experienced and hold a degree in BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy.
- Ideally have additional qualifications in hydrotherapy or have experience within the field of hydrotherapy.
- Have knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Have a strong interest in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, along with long-term management and care of geriatric and arthritic patients
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be capable of working alone and as part of a team for optimal management of patients
- Be competent in communicating with veterinary surgeons, specialists, and other professionals.
- Have the ability to build good relationships with both animals and their owners
- Have good organisational and administrative skills
- Patience, adaptability, and good problem-solving skills
- Have good level of fitness to cope with the physical demands of the job

FULL TIME OR PART-TIME JOB SHARE OPPORTUNITY FOR 25 HOURS PER WEEK. HOURLY CONTRACT STARTING FROM £10 PER HOUR.
Pawseidon are always looking to expanded the amazing team and currently looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude to join our friendly team in Poole, Dorset. Our candidate should have minimum Level 3 qualification in Small Animal Hydrotherapy including Advanced underwater treadmill qualification.
Our ideal candidate must:
- Be experienced and hold at least Level 3 qualification in Small Animal Hydrotherapy
- Have Advanced underwater treadmill training – if not qualified, you will need proof that you are currently working towards this. A candidate currently working towards this qualification will be considered
- Have knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be capable of working alone and as part of a team for optimal management of patients
- Be competent in communicating with veterinary surgeons, specialists, and other professionals.
- Have the ability to build good relationships with both animals and their owners
- Passionate about Rehabilitation
- Reliable, trustworthy and friendly
- Have a good level of fitness to cope with the physical demands of the job

CANCELLING A SESSION
We know that life can throw lemons so we operate a flexible cancellation policy
For cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours notice a fee will be charged – except for the valid reasons outlined in these terms
To make a cancellation please either call 01202 929518 or email admin@pawseidon.co.uk at least 24 hours in advance of your session.
We will make all efforts to contact owners if an appointment needs to be changed or cancelled, but will not accept liability for any losses or damage
We reserve the right to cancel any appointment due to power outage, unsafe operating conditions (such as ice, snow or severe rainfall causing flood like conditions), maintenance or illness
VALID REASONS TO CANCEL
- You or an immediate family member who needs caring for suffers from a sudden illness, requires emergency treatment or tragically loses their life
- Your dog has a contagious condition such as ear, eye & skin infections; gastric upsets; and kennel cough
- Your dog is in season as this will leave a scent that will distract other dogs from their sessions
- Your dog's vet or one of our therapists has advised not to continue for a clinical reason
EXAMPLES OF WHEN WE CHARGE
- When you simply forget your appointment or are more than 10 minutes late.
- You lost your appointment card or didn't put the date in your diary correctly
- If you double book an appointment with work or family commitments-except where there is a severe risk to someone's welfare
- You decide the weather is not suitable for travelling or enjoyment of your session
